By accessing or using Jambi School's school management platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Jambi School provides a comprehensive school management platform that includes student management, attendance tracking, fee management, academic records, and related features. The Service is available as both a cloud-hosted (SaaS) solution and a self-hosted option.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Collect or harvest user information without consent
• Use the Service to store or transmit infringing or harmful content
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Data Ownership

You retain all rights to your data. We do not claim ownership of any content you upload or create using the Service. You grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve the Service. For SaaS users, you can export or delete your data at any time.

6. Subscription and Payments

For paid plans:

• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of service
• Self-hosted licenses are one-time payments with specified support periods

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Jambi School and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks may not be used without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jambi School shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jambi School and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
